Pete and Sarah's 40th Wedding Anniversary
My clients wanted a fun, family-friendly celebration in a beautiful little village hall for about 80 people. With a mix of little children and gluten free and vegan dietary requirements, they wanted everyone to feel included. They were already big fans of Nicole as we did a street party in their road a little while back.

We used the van to do welcoming drinks outside the door, with our home-made lemonade, cordials and cola. Inside, there was a seating plan with separate packed up picnics for vegans and gluten free diets, We also put out our cute little picnic baskets for the youngest guests filled with food just for them.
For the main event, we set out our beautiful vintage china, with teapots, tiered stands, sandwich platters, champagne glasses, tablecloths and cutlery. We also created personalised menu cards with a picture of the happy couple from their wedding day. Five team members were on hand to top up tea, serve from the van and set up and tidy away.

She helped us plan a memorable occasion with many special details: eautifully laid out tables; flowers; hand-made, bespoke menus; vintage china; decorations and absolutely delicious food. And, of course, ‘Nicole’ - Kate’s splendid 1963 Citroen van, serving home-made fizzy drinks, added a unique touch of style to the occasion! Nothing was too much trouble, including delightful vegan treats and special baskets for the children, which they loved. The choice and variety was stunning and we had many lovely compliments from our guests. It all helped us to create wonderful, unforgettable memories for our family and friends. Thank you, Kate, it was a triumph!"

surprise for nan and grandad
A customer wanted an afternoon tea surprise for her grandparents during COVID lockdown so that they could enjoy it in the garden on a sunny afternoon and know that their family were thinking about them and missing them.
We put together a selection of afternoon tea treats, with fresh baked scones and clotted cream, 3 types of sandwich, 4 types of cake (Elderflower, blackberry and lime cake, pecan bronie, tarte au citroen and macarons), fresh home-baked sausage rolls and a selection of Lichfield Tea Company loose leaf tea. All presented in our beautiful branded single-use tiered stand with plenty for afters!
We also created a pesonalised menu card with a picture of the happy couple taken with their family and a message inside from their family, transferred from a simple jpeg file of their own handwritten note
Nan and grandad were thrilled with their thoughtful gift!
